Bhautik Sheth has been appointed a Board of Studies Member at Sardar Vallabhbhai Global University in Ahmedabad.

The university was formed in Ahmedabad on 20 April 2023 under the Gujarat Private Universities (Amendment) Act, 2023 (Gujarat Act No. 7 of 2023). Previously, it was a prestigious Chimpanbhai Patel Institute offering IT and Management programmes.

Sardar Vallabhbhai Global University and Bhautik Sheth – The connection

The SVG university now offers MCA, MBA, BBA, BCA, and other courses. Notably, Bhautik Sheth is an alumna of the Chimanbhai Patel Post-Graduate Institute of Computer Application. He completed his MCA at this college in 2006.

Since the college has turned into a university, Bhautik Sheth has guided the design of the digital marketing course for the BCA Honours program. Later, he was inquired about his interest as a BOS member. As a past college student, Bhautik has shown his interest in the offer.

On 5 October 2023, the university registrar sent the confirmation email for BOS membership in the BCA program. Bhautik Sheth will represent the industry perspective on the board.

“I am happy to be nominated as a board of studies member for the BCA program. I have completed my MCA from this college, and now, as it has become a university, I am excited to contribute with my industry knowledge and exposure. My focus would be to bring the industry’s perspective forward. I will try my best to guide the BCA students as per the changing market dynamics.”–  said Bhautik Sheth.

Bhautik is already a Board of Studies (Management program) member at Surat-based Vanita Vishram Women’s University, Gujarat’s first and only women’s university.
